Several years ago we discovered that my sister was self-medicating for a complex underlying issue. Our family fought for her, but we faced an uphill battle for which we were woefully unprepared. By the grace of God, we encountered Mike in the course of our struggle.

Mike saved my sister.

He gave my parents back their daughter, he gave me and my siblings back our sister. He was there for us in her, and our, deepest struggles. My sister's condition was difficult to properly diagnose, and it's even more difficult to successfully treat given the level of commitment it requires of the patient. Many professionals are reluctant to give it - even when they're certain that it's the right one.

Mike did.

And the difference was both joyous and fast. Sadly, we recently lost her to a sudden accident beyond anyone's control. And, while my sister, my parents' daughter, is gone, know that Mike saved her when we were convinced she was lost. And, though we would have never given up, Mike brought her back to us whole. Her passing was sudden, but, know that our family is beyond grateful for what he has done.

No counselor is a fit for everyone. Be sure to take the time to get to know yours. But know that Mike is outstanding. Give him a chance, get to know him, and he might save you too.
